Crossley House is a beautiful heritage home set in one of East Toowoomba’s enchanting tree-lined streets. Possessing robust bones, the character-filled property was brimming with charm, although some existing features, both interior and exterior, required a tasteful update. Having worked with the owners previously, Natalie was brought onto the project by the home’s new owners, who knew she understood their want to bring the house in line with their preferred design aesthetic. Doing away with the dated bright and varied colour scheme, Natalie refreshed the colour palette both inside and out. Bringing in contemporary feature pieces including a pendant light and wall light fittings, entry wallpaper, window furnishings, statement furniture pieces, as well as art and décor, the designer has made sure to incorporate treasured keepsakes in a beautiful neutral palette. Continuing the trajectory of the home’s transformation, both the kitchen and bathroom have been scheduled for upcoming renovations at a later date. Adored by all who enter and pass it on the street, Crossley house has now fulfilled its expectations as a welcoming home that exudes warmth and calm, reflecting the personalities and tastes of its new owners.
